Description of Duties: The Platte County Board of Zoning Adjustment consists of a five member board. Members are appointed by the County Commission. The Board of Zoning Adjustment hears requests for building setback variances and other zoning or subdivision regulation variances. The Board of Zoning Adjustment also hears certain appeals. The Board of Zoning Adjustment has jurisdiction in the unincorporated portion of Platte County. All Board of Zoning Adjustment meetings are open to the public and their agendas can be found on the County website.
