Oaths of Office

Once appointed by a governing entity, the Platte County Clerk is able to administer the oath of office.

Make an appointment and verify the state documents have been received in our office by contacting our office at, 816 858-3340.
Oaths are administered by appointment between the hours of 9:00 - 3:30, Monday thru Friday.
Upon arrival, applicants must present the required documents shown below.

Notification letter from the State
Bond for $10,000 made out to Platte County
Valid Driver’s License
Payment of $6.00 – any type of payment is accepted, however, if paying cash, please bring the correct amount as change is not always available.
