Northland Sports Complex

The great news is that the Northland Sports Complex made it past the first step with the Kansas City City Council. It's been approved to moved forward with an RFI/Q process.

Special thanks to Councilman Dan Fowler and Councilwoman Teresa Loar for their leadership in getting through this first step. And to Darren Hennen, our committee chair, for staying the course with us.

Many moving parts to get to the next step which would be council approval of a development agreement and financing package.

City of Riverside

The City of Riverside recently celebrated two milestones. Riverside was incorporated on June 21, 1951. Forty-three years and one day later, the Argosy Riverside Casino launched on June 22, 1994.

The City of Riverside was featured on the cover of the Kansas City Business Journal, Gambling on a new era for Riverside. The city's successful growth and development is largely due to the investments in infrastructure and economic development from gaming revenue.
