TOUR de PLATTE
June 2nd - 8am 
Join the Riverside Area Chamber of Commerce and Platte County Parks for the Tour de Platte - a free bicycle ride designed for bikers of all levels to cycle through the trails, parks and back roads of Platte County. Three route options are available (10, 18 & 34 miles) and begins at  8:00 am at E.H. Young Park in Riverside, MO. Afterward, riders can enjoy a breakfast of baked goods and coffee. T-shirts will be on sale for $6 through the online registration (t-shirt order deadline is May 20th). Registration is open at www.platteparks.com.

Festa Italiana Returns to Zona Rosa
June 1-3
One of Kansas City’s favorite festivals, Festa Italiana, the unique celebration of Italian traditions and Italian-American culture, will once again kick off the summer season at Zona Rosa June 1 - 3. This longtime local ethnic festival draws visitors from across metropolitan Kansas City and beyond. Enjoy an amazing assortment of Italian food favorites, a beer garden, an Italian Car Show, food eating contests and much more. Plus, novelty booths will line the streets including “Lots Of Italiana” shirts, hats, and other memorabilia representing Italian heritage for the whole family. The festival will also feature a designated children’s area with a variety of activities.

Experience the Zen of Jowler Creek's sustainable vineyards while starting your weekend out with a great outdoor workout in the fresh air! Each 45-minute class will be led by a certified instructor from the Platte County Community Center North and will include a warm-up, main exercise, and cool down with stretching. All you'll need to bring with you is a yoga/workout mat, water, and towel. Cost is $5/class, or you can buy a 4-pack of class tickets for $18. Walk-ins are welcome if you're paying with cash, but if you're planning to pay via Credit Card online registration and pre-payment is required.
