Please join the Weston merchants on Saturday, November 24th, for our Small Business Saturday shopping specials. Visit the Welcome Center at the Chamber Office to enjoy some refreshments and pick up your shopping Passport. When your Passport has received at last three merchant signatures bring the Passport back to the Welcome Center to be entered into a drawing for a Weston Gift Certificate! If you'd prefer to just enter the drawing without using the Passport, those entries will be $1.00 each. The drawing will take place at 5:30pm Saturday -- the winner does not need to be present to win! The merchants will have many awesome sales specials along with all their Holiday merchandise. The shops will be decorated for the Holiday season. And don't forget --- Father Christmas will be out and about on the sidewalks of downtown Weston visiting and taking photos with any who ask!

Zona Rosa will kick off the 2018 holiday season with a special lighting ceremony to spotlight the 50 foot Christmas tree in Town Square. The community is invited to this FREE program including the official arrival of Santa Claus! The evening with be hosted by Karli Ritter, with Fox4KC. Holiday-inspired performances by well-known area musicians including rocker Nick Nave from Red Guitar, jazzy Heather Thornton, funky blues rock artist Chris Lockard and Big Time Grain Company.

Serving Residents of Platte County & families that attend Platte County School Districts Gifts of Service Provided during The Day of Hope event...
*Groceries - Food Box donations and additional grocery supplies donated will be distributed the day of the event to registered families.
*Haircuts - Local Stylists will be on site to provide services for all participants interested in receiving a haircut.
*Family Photos - Use your cell phone to take a family photo at our picture station. A volunteer will be set up to help you capture that special family photo.
*Community Resources Numerous community resource booths will be available with information about public services that are available in the community.
*Children's Activity Room - A designated area will be available for the children to enjoy fun activities during the event.
*Winter Supplies - Coats, gloves, and hats that are donated will be distributed to the registered children the day of the event.
