In accordance with RS MO. 301.344, any wrecker or tow service business
that operates in Platte County must obtain and display a Tow Truck Permit.
Procedure:
1) Contact the County Clerk's Office for an application.
2) Submit the completed application along with the following:
Vehicle information
Certificate of Insurance
Paid Platte County personal property tax receipt
Copy of Missouri State Inspection Certificate
If corporation, a copy of "Corporate in Good Standing"
3) Submit payment in the amount of $75 per business and $25 per vehicle.
